Meet Your Host

I was late to the Autistic party, having received my diagnosis only a few years ago. Like many of us say, it suddenly made sense. After a lifetime of struggling in many different capacities, feeling incapable, labelled, ashamed and confused, the answers were now there. It did create a whole lot of new questions, but there was (and still is) a sense of comfort in getting to know myself through these new, fresh eyes.

This is where The Meltdown podcast comes in. Our shared stories and experiences are an essential tool in the "normalisation" of Autism and Additional Needs. I don't know about you, but I've never related to Rain Man, and I think it's about time that some true representation is out there.

Let's chat, let's laugh, let's cry, let's shout it from the rooftops. Let's Meltdown together!

Love Jess xoxo
